Andrew at Crafts and Minis got me interested in #HobbyStreak last year when he began posting his videos and tweets about his daily progress in the hobby. The idea is that you do a little every day and record it on Twitter with the #HobbyStreak hashtag so that people can follow along and, together with everyone else who's doing the same, you can see some real progress as time passes.
This year I decided to give it a try. You can follow my daily updates on my Twitter feed and, from time to time I'll be updating this page with my progress as well.Andrew at Crafts and Minis got me interested in #HobbyStreak last year when he began posting his videos and tweets about his daily progress in the hobby. Day two hundred and eighty-one 7th October 2020 I was hoping to start painting my 54mm Phoenix miniatures today but I realised I needed some 40mm bases for them so they have to wait until Warbases send my order (never a long wait). Instead, today I assembled some plague-ridden horrors.

Day two hundred and eighty-three 9th October 2020 I finally (it's been on the shelf for 2 years) did the repairs to my haunted house and blacked out the windows. Now it's ready for the spooky season. I didn't make this one, it was made by Paul Smith, but he didn't want it so I bought it off him.
Day two hundred and eighty-four 10th October 2020 Tonight we played the 9th and final episode of our Merry Outlaws ttrpg wherein our heroes helped save the town of Hexham from the rebel barons and were rewarded by the King.

Day two hundred and ninety-one 17th October 2020 I spent a lot of time writing some rules today but I also made this. I know what this is, it's a Nurgle tank.
Day two hundred and ninety-two 18th October 2020 I've based up and prepped my 54mm Phoenix models. I've been wanting to paint these since 1978. I did have a couple I painted in enamels way back when but they're long gone now. Looking forward to seeing how these turn out.
Day two hundred and ninety-three 19th October 2020 Painting my 54mm Phoenix models. I've started with the flesh because there's so much of it. The first three layers are done, there are 1 or 2 more highlights on most of the figures to be added later.
Day two hundred and ninety-four 20th October 2020 Painting my 54mm Phoenix models. The flesh is finished (just a short session tonight.)
Day two hundred and ninety-five 21st October 2020 Painting my 54mm Phoenix models. I've blocked in the base colours, won't be long now.

Day three hundred and one 27th October 2020 Bit of a nightmare day today. Luckily, before the shit hit the fan I'd managed to clean and assemble the next lot of Phoenix 54mm miniatures. I think these will be the final ones I get. Painting will resume tomorrow, when I'm calmer.
