​​Andrew at Crafts and Minis got me interested in #HobbyStreak last year when he began posting his videos and tweets about his daily progress in the hobby. The idea is that you do a little every day and record it on Twitter with the #HobbyStreak hashtag so that people can follow along and, together with everyone else who's doing the same, you can see some real progress as time passes.
This year I decided to give it a try. You can follow my daily updates on my Twitter feed and, from time to time I'll be updating this page with my progress as well.

Day 487 1st May 2021. Tonight we played the 21st instalment of our ongoing Cyberpunk ttrpg using the Wired Neon City rules. A serial attacker was apprehended, a bear was returned to the wild and an undercover cop was...rescued.

Day 488 2nd May 2021. My latest painting update; The Crimean War Part one.

Day 489 3rd May 2021. Two Crimean British units done. These are the 47th, the Lancashire Regiment.

Day 490 4th May 2021. The 47th, the Lancashire Regiment, is based and 2 units of Russian Grenadiers in caps are underway.

Day 491 5th May 2021. Base colours are underway on the Russian Grenadiers and I assembled my Russian Lancers too, to see what they looked like.

Day 492 6th May 2021. Base colours are done on the Russian Grenadiers, on to the fun stuff next.

Day 493 7th May 2021. The Russian Grenadiers are nearly done.

Day 494 8th May 2021. Tonight we played the 22nd instalment of our ongoing Cyberpunk ttrpg using the Wired Neon City rules. Kidnapped girls were rescued, financial problems were solved, a court case was lost and an assassination was foiled.

Day 495 9th May 2021. My Russian  Grenadiers are finished. 

Day 496 10th May 2021. My Russian  Grenadiers are based and my final units of British infantry are underway.

Day 497 11th May 2021. Basic colours going on the next British infantry. These were going to be the last British but I've decided to increase each army to 12 infantry stands so I've ordered some more.

​Day 498 12th May 2021. Making progress on my latest British infantry.

​Day 499 13th May 2021. Just guns and faces to do.

​Day 500 14th May 2021. The 50th Queen's own West Kent Regiment are complete.

Day 501 15th May 2021. The 50th Queen's own West Kent Regiment are based and I've prepared my Russian Sailors.

Day 502 16th May 2021. The Russian Sailors are nearly done.

Day 503 17th May 2021. The Russian Sailors are finished.

Day 504 18th May 2021. The Russian Sailors are based and the French infantry is ready to go.

Day 505 19th May 2021. I've started putting basic colours on the French infantry.

Day 506 20th May 2021. Good progress on the French infantry.

Day 507 21st May 2021. The French infantry are done.

Day 508 22nd May 2021. The French infantry are based and some 95th Rifles and Moscow Regiment are ready to go. These additions will make both units double based units to match everyone else.

Day 509 23rd May 2021. The Moscow Regiment is finished. Because there are no command miniatures for it, I added a mounted officer.

Day 510 24th May 2021. The extra Rifles bases are done giving me two units of skirmishers.

Day 511 25th May 2021. The Moscow Regiment and the Rifles are based.

Day 512 26th May 2021. Some prep work on the next Crimean figures.

Day 513 27th May 2021. Basic colours on the 13th Regiment.

Day 514 28th May 2021. Good progress on my last British infantry unit.

Day 515 29th May 2021. Tonight we played the 23rd instalment of our ongoing Cyberpunk ttrpg using the Wired Neon City rules. Wrongs were righted. Traditions were upheld. Organs were replaced. Just a normal day in Neon City.

Day 516 30th May 2021. Faces and guns left to do.

Day 517 31st May 2021. The final British infantry unit for my Crimean project is finished and based. This completes the infantry for both armies. Cavalry and guns to go.
